I artfully hand-patina most all of the brass in my studio. I achieve an incredibly rich, warm patina that looks like the brass has been aged naturally over the years. My process is 100% environmentally friendly. Brass Bouquet's elements come from 100% US made brass. None of our products are made anywhere else! Our brass contains no nickel or lead so you can be confident when you create a beautiful vintage-aged piece of jewelry that it is made of fine quality materials. My filigree, stampings and charms are still being stamped out on the original toolings from the Victorian, Art Deco and Nouveau periods. Each item has been hand patina'ed using a special aging process. We hand-buff the components of each product to bring out an incredible antique gold luster. Our vintage-aged brass has the distinctive warm glow of days gone by. It is not a dark or muddy finish. Our finish glows. We do not put any sealers on our hand-patina'd brass so items can breath and continue to age naturally. We do from time to time use antique-plated pieces when it is necessary.
